Last Saturday, one full team and a mixed team with another school could celebrate completing the Exmoor Challenge 2023. More than 100 teams took part in this event.
Several blisters, a tumble requiring first aid and many, many steps later our walkers finished the challenge successfully navigating their way over Exmoor. Quite a few teams went wrong and managed to miss out 2 checkpoints, so this is a proper challenge that our 5 skilled, intrepid students can feel immensely proud of achieving. We know we do!
A special thanks to Mr and Mrs Vaughan for committing many weekends to train the children for this challenge. Without them, Newton Poppleford would not be able to celebrate this fabulous achievement. (FYI - the next one's 4th May 2024).
